comprehensive pre-hospital healthcare systems in the nation, UH-EMS represents the only
state affiliated service that incorporates ALS, BLS, Rescue, 9-1-1 EMS/Fire
Communications, Special Operations, Air Medical, Critical Care, Tactical Medicine,
Research, Training, and Education. Ranking among the top providers in the country
and representing among the busiest and most experienced units nationally, in excess of
125,000 requests for service are received annually within our coverage areas.
